Bioroids are humanoid beings created using biogenesis and, if not all parts are biological, other industrial means. Their brain is either equipped with an implant, or is just used to host another sapient being, like an LAI or SAI. In this case, they're referred to as "Bioshells", as opposition to Cybershells.
