This page gathers a few interesting facts and things worthy of being noted. It searches for ToDo and Note properties on pages, and reports them back here. An important limitation about Failed to find InterWiki 'flexWiki'., though, is that it currently can't process several properties of the same name on one page. This means that you can't put, on one single page, several notes, or several instances of ToDo remarks.
Below is a list of things missing in GURPSWiki (ToDo property).
| Page | Things to do | Summary of that page |
| CharacterCreationHouseRules | dig up some threads on the SteveJacksonGamesForums about alternate ways to consider attributes. This includes this thread featuring the "Weak IQ" house rule by Luther, this more recent one about a 10-stat model, by Eljay451. | Rules for character creation |
| CharacterCreationRealityCheck | we should also talk about Per and Will, and create reality checks for skills and some ads/disads. | A page about what it takes to create "realistic" characters, depending on your campaign |
| CharacterTemplates | Another suggestion - create two column layout for templates. Right column is separate template lists by Campaign Type. Left column is separate template lists by Tech Level. If a template belongs to several campaign types or tech levels, it can duplicated in each, even if it makes the list a big longer. (RaynerApe) | Character templates ready to use for your NPCs or your characters |
| ContributorsPage | In order to ease the transition of material from the forum, let's suggest forum users to: a) put permission for house rules, characters, templates, etc. in their signature; b) use standard tag, ie: <<GurpsWiki>> in their posts that means "permission granted to repost on GurpsWiki". Also it would be good if we could gather a team of editors who move material from the forum to the wiki. (author: RaynerApe) | The headquarters for GURPSWiki contributors, including credits, guidelines, etc. |
| DungeonsAndDragonsMonsters | Below I'm trying to put this in the form. | The following are conversions of d20 SRD monsters converted by various members of the SJ Games Forums. |
||Earthdawn ||I will post this page in German, hoping that other contributers will help me translating this stuff bit by bit. Every translated sentence is being appreciated. The german text was copied into the Wiki largely unformatted. I intend to do better with the translated version.

| FBIAgentCharacterTemplate | check for errors, cleanup the formatting and some weird skill choices, split some templates in 2 or 3 lenses. | Several templates for an FBI Agent |
| ForumThreadsToProcess | This is a quick conversion guide for GURPS Traveller. Anyone can to read it and put it up for people to edit futher. I think that this is what a lot of people are looking for as we move to fourth edition. The ability to start taking their characters and their equiment across into fourth edition. (Lonewolf) | A list of SJGames forums threads to evaluate, process and summarize here |
| GameSystemConversions | Fill this up! We could use the material from the SteveJacksonGamesForums - if anybody want to read through those old threads! This includes topics like converting the D&D magic system, how to convert levels to character points, etc. | How to convert to GURPS from other game systems (and vice-versa, but who would do it the other way? ) |
| GordonIronheart | Add skills and spells, add equipment and languages. | A staff mage, configurable with different packages and lenses for your exact needs (once I write them). |
| HikingHouseRules | some people find the previous results really optimistic. According to HikingRealityCheck the problem is mostly because of the length of the basic hiking day, which is 14 hours. Here we should try to come up with some rules that model the fact that such long days of hiking can't be repeated for several days by average characters without them being more and more fatigued, up to the point that they can't hike anymore... | Expanded, optional and alternate rules for hiking |
| HikingRealityCheck | make better calculations! lazy me! | Facts and informations about hiking |
| HouseRules | This section may grow fast in future, and pages may become too long. I suggest that instead single page for each type of house rules, a list of item is created and each rule or group of interconnected rules gets it's own page. Also, I suggest a two column layout, with balanced number of sections on each column. Each section can have separate page for each sizable or separate rule and a "MiscRules" page for the small tidbits. I can do that if I get approval from lead editor.(author-RaynerApe) | The starter page for our section of HouseRules. |
| MagicHouseRules | There are lots of magical house rules out on the net. A list of links would be a good place to start. | House rules for magic in settings. |
| MedievalCombatRealityCheck | Add information about leather protection, alternate metal armour, etc., with details their efficiency in various situations. | RealityChecks about medieval weapons, armor, etc. |
| ModernCombatRealityCheck | add information about common protections like kevlar (general info, types of weapons it's effective/not-effective against, etc. | RealityChecks about modern weapons, armor, etc. |
| NextLevel | Hey, just about everything is 'to do'! I'm doing a quick run-through of each segment, will work on details later. Update: Got two boxes added to Twisted Adventures, July 4. | A project to provide ways for gamemasters to sharpen their skills and produce better adventures faster! |
| PhasersOld | Fact check with the published technical manuals. | An attempt to model phasers as hand-held beam weapons. |
| NonPlayingCharacters | Plenty! There are a ton of sample characters at the SJ Games forums. We should see about getting permission to repost those here. | Ready to use characters, or examples of what GURPS can do |
| CyberShell | WearableVirtualInterface | A collection of cybershells, upgraded to 4.th edition. |
| CyberShells | The Virtual Interface Implant | A collection of cybershells, upgraded to 4.th edition. |
| EquipmentList | Other THS books. Nano symbiont updates. | a list of equipment and services from the main THS book. |
| DruidicLore | Write up Druid's rituals | TDE Druid |
| ListOfCulturs | This is still preborboradian | Aventurian Cultures |
Topics may contain notes we should be aware of. Here's another automatically generated list for this (Note property).
| Page | Note | Summary of that page |
| CaseForDecibelMeasurement | How to make use of the Decibel Measurement system | |
| CreditsPage | if your nickname only has one word, you may add brackets ("[" and "]") around it to generate a Wiki link to your own topic. For example, [seasong] generates seasong. However, when you add yourself to the Authors property of a page, don't put brackets. This would prevent your name from being matched by the various Failed to find InterWiki 'flexWiki'. scripts that work with properties. Don't forget to remove the brackets from the PeopleWhoContributed property on this page, too. As a general rule, don't put brackets around your nickname when it comes to Wiki properties. | Credits for GURPSWiki |
| DungeonsAndDragonsConversion | This glosses over the fact that spells are handled very differently in D&D3.x and GURPS. In D&D a spell's power is dependent on class and any relevent feats while in GURPS the amount of fatigue put into a spell determines its power. For example in D&D 3.x a 5d6 and a 6d6 Explosive Fireball take up one spell slot and fill the same area but in GURPS the 6d6 version takes more energy and covers a larger area. Then there ae spells like Draw Power and Lend Fatigue which have no equivalent in D&D3.x but can boost the power of spellcasters dramatically. | How to adapt GURPS to DD3 gameplay |
||Earthdawn ||I am rewriting every paragraph in english for later review / editings, as i dont have any rulebook at my front now.
Ich schreibe die übersetzung pro Block, damit ein Vergleich da ist und evtl. noch Änderungen vorgenommen werden können.
--Tribbles
Okay.. I will delete the German blocks after editing.

| ExampleOfANote | this page is really stupid, do something for god's sake! | |
| GURPSCharacters | This character is designed for the “Alchemical Baroque” setting described in GURPS All-Star Jam 2004. | Free Pyramid magazine articles with NPCs, monsters, and gadgets. |
| HeroesUnlimitedEducationAndSkills | Sniper would be better represented by some kind of technique ("..special training in long-range rifle firing and marksmanship..") | Heroes Unlimited characters select their skills in different packages, depending on their randomly determined education level. Here's how to do this in GURPS. |
| HeroesUnlimitedEquipment | The futuristic alien weaponry is actually less powerful than the prototype earth beam weapons. Fix this? | Converting Heroes Unlimited equipment and weapons to GURPS. |
| HeroesUnlimitedMajorPowers | I think that the DR would be better used with DR 20 or 40, with the Tough Skin penalty and the Hardened bonus twice. That way, the total cost would be 125 or 225 points, which is fitting for one of the most powerful abilities. | How to convert Heroes Unlimited Major Powers to GURPS Advantages. Unlike minor powers, I have not tried to make everything worth the same points cost. Each major power should be worth at least 60 points, however. |
| HeroesUnlimitedMinorPowers | Some abilities have been made less effective than their Heroes Unlimited versions in order to bring them as close to 30 points as possible. 30 points was chosen as this seemed to be the 'average' points value of Heroes minor powers. | How to convert the randomly generated Minor Powers from Heroes Unlimited to GURPS Advantages. |
| InNomine | The following adventure is based upon a premise which is not canon at the time of this writing. It might become a canon rumor or theory. | Free Pyramid articles adventures, rules, and other material for In Nomine. |
| NPCStatBlocks | When creating new stat blocks, name your topics with StatBlock at the end. | Simple stat blocks for cannon fodder NPCs |
| Pelena | Pelena is based on my character of the same name from City of Heroes; hence the technological super-powers below are rough conversions of that game's Trick Arrow and Illusion Control power groups. If these technologies are already available in your campaign world, it may be appropriate to change some of those advantages to Signature Gear, although this will largely reduce her points total (depending on the dollar value of the gear). | Technology-based superheroine |
| RacialAndJobTemplates | With Stats 80, other Advantages 14 and Disadvantages -25, that leaves a total of 40 pts, which isn't specifically stated. My GURPS Characters book indicates that Regeneration (Slow) is only 10 pts. | |
| RealityChecks | if you need to create a specific page for a given topic, you should create a page that's named TopicNameRealityCheck. | A compendium of "what happens in real life" for several common game situations |
| ShootingRangeRealityCheck | I'm not sure that 1 point spent in Guns(Rifle) is very fair. 1 point is roughly 200 hours of study, or a week or two of intensive military training. AFAIK, only the "Quick Learning Under Pressure" rules would allow an absolutely untrained rookie to get 1 point in that skill... Without this, he would only have DX-4! JimBob: Agreed. DX-4, and the "-3" modifier total, gives us effective skill of 3. Only one in 216 shots will hit the target area, a performance 113 times worse than that actually achieved in practice. Luther: I've to disagree. As Kromm explained 1 cp is in the order of 200 hours of study, more likely to be 60-600 hours. I think 1 cp reflects well this basic training and, as showed on the forums, the GURPS figures are a bit pessimistic but not way too far from reality. | A test of GURPS's ranged attack modifiers for shooting range situations |
| AlternateEarthTemplate | Do not violate copyright. If the world in question appeared in a book published by Steve Jackson Games, do not copy the text from the book - instead summarize it or add new material that expands on the book. Do not publish settings and worlds created by third-party publishers unless you have their explicit permission to add their world to this project (of course, if you are holding all the rights to this world, then everything is peachy...). | A template for alternate earth entries in the InfiniteWorldsWiki |

Do not publish settings and worlds created by third-party publishers unless you have their explicit permission to add their world to this project (of course, if you are holding all the rights to this world, then everything is peachy...). | world dominated by England, France and Germany |

They still have problems with genuine creative thought and emotions, however. They constantly run simulations to analyze options and avoid problems, represented by the Visualization advantage. |
| MacroframeComputer | I think that Numb disadvantage should be placed here (and not only here). | This is a basic macroframe computer. It has basic sensors, but no manipulators or mobility. |
| MainframeComputer | Converted from notes appearing on the SJGames forums. Special thanks to Perfect Organism and bardolph | This is a basic mainframe computer. It has basic sensors, but no manipulators or mobility. |

| NonsapientAI | The information here is taken from http://members.cox.net/justjessie/Transhuman_Space/THS_Infomorphs.htm and the SJG forums, and my own additions | These programs can learn, but lack self-awareness and initiative. |

| SapientAI | The information here is taken from http://members.cox.net/justjessie/Transhuman_Space/THS_Infomorphs.htm and the SJG forums, and my own additions | SAIs have intellects equalling or surpassing those of humans. They have the ability to reason creatively, coupled with the speed of a computer. |
| ShadowMindEmulation | The information here is taken from http://members.cox.net/justjessie/Transhuman_Space/THS_Infomorphs.htm and the SJG forums, and my own additions | A less than perfect mind emulation, patched into either an LAI or an SAI. |
| GuildWizzary | For werewolves and the such, the sword acts as silver; furthermore it can overcome every damage reduction of undeads with such advantages. If those creatures are also inflammable, e.g. mummies, damage is doubled. - I don't know how to convwert that to the fourth edition (sorry, I play the Third) Mormegil | TDE Guild Wizzard |
| ListOfCulturs | GURPS cultural familiarities are very broad. | Aventurian Cultures |
| TdeToGurpsSpellNames | This is just a starting point | A try to translate TDE spell names to GURPS splell names |
