If you're there, it's likely that it's because you want to get involved in GURPSWiki - or because you already have! If that's the case, please read the following paragraphs carefully.

Submission Policy

• The Usual Disclaimer: Although we allow everybody to edit anything (almost!) on the website, this is not a reason to put up whatever you like here. This includes offensing texts like racist statements, rudeness, etc. Well, you know the drill. Behave.
• Language: Proof-read your texts. Most of you are not native english speakers, of course, but please try and do your best.
• Wiki Features: this Wiki engine has some nice features. You do not have to be aware of them all, but at least read about the basic ones on the official FlexWiki website. Also, see the SubmissionGuidelines, below.
• A Word From Your Kindly Administrators: Everything on GURPSWiki is tracked and archived. We can lock, alter, or remove your changes or additions at will. We will do it if we think they do not respect our submission policy, or if they're really, really lame. Don't be afraid, though, we're nice guys!

Submission Guidelines

• Add Your Name: when editing a page, there's an edit box on the right pane, in the "Change Attribution" section. Please put your nickname or your email address there. This is how we know who changed what on each page.
• Create A User Profile: create a Wiki topic on your name (for example, if you name is John Doe, you can create a topic called JohnDoe). This will create a page where you can put some contact info we can use if we ever need to get in touch with you (questions about your contributions, etc.).
• Properties: a WikiPageProperty is a useful thing for indexing and maintaining GURPSWiki contents. Get to know the Summary, Authors and Keywords properties. Try to update them when necessary, and add them to any new topic you create. Also, use the Note and ToDo properties whenever you have a remark, or whenever there's some unfinished business somewhere. This way, they will show up on the ContributorsPage. If you want, there's a list of WikiPropertiesUsedInGURPSWiki you can use as a reference.
• When In Doubt, Use The PlayPage: the PlayPage is your friend!
• Give your sources: if you're basing your contribution on internet material, please give the links. A common practice is to summarize and present SteveJacksonGamesForums threads about GURPS in a comprehensive and useful way. In this case, if applicable, insert a link to those threads in your contribution.
