BACKGROUND
Regis grew up with pretty much everybody. Mom and he moved around a lot, and the zoning laws kept changing which school he was going to that year, but he managed to stay in touch with his friends, old and new. Now a high-school dropout in his early 20s, Roast Beef (only Mom gets to call him Regis, and that's because he's still living with her, rent- and job-free) is on good terms with most of the gangs and such throughout the city. He makes his money doing the occasional drug run and burglarizing stores and homes, but only the ones that "deserve it" in his mind. He's been lucky enough to avoid arrest so far, and is big and scary enough to put most people off wanting to mess with him. If necessary, he could track down enough gang members to back him up on something, but it's far from a guarantee.
