Summary How to convert the randomly generated Minor Powers from Heroes Unlimited to GURPS Advantages.

Minor Powers

Note Some abilities have been made less effective than their Heroes Unlimited versions in order to bring them as close to 30 points as possible. 30 points was chosen as this seemed to be the 'average' points value of Heroes minor powers.

Adhesion {20} = Clinging {20}

Alter Physical Body {20} = Elastic Skin {20}

Bend Light {27}

  • Infravision {10}
  • Ultravision {10}
  • Enhanced Dodge (Lasers Only) {6}
  • Prismatic Effects {1}

Energy Expulsion {Variable}

Burning Attack 1d (Variable +5%)

with one of:

  • "Energy" (Armour Divisor 2 50%; Increased Range x2 10%)
  • "Fire" (Jet 0%)
  • "Electricity" (Surge 20%)
  • "Laser" (Armour Divisor 2 50%; Increased Range x2 10%; Rapid Fire 10 100%)
  • "Field" (Area Effect 4y 100%; Emanation - 20%; No Move - 20%); DR 10 (Energy - 20%, Fire - 40%, Electricity - 40% or Lasers - 60%, Only Whilst Using Field Attack - 30%)

Increase damage dice until points are as close to {30} as possible.

Energy Resistance {30} = Damage Resistance 10 (Energy - 20%, Semi-Ablative - 20%) {30}

Impervious to Fire and Heat {30} = Damage Resistance 15 (Heat/Fire - 40%, Semi-Ablative - 20%) {30}

Extraordinary Mental Affinity {30} = Charisma 3 {15}; Smooth Operator 1 {15}

Extraordinary Mental Endurance {30} = Willpower 6 {30}
