The Steve Jackson Games Forums have some very cool threads, but most of them are forgotten in a couple weeks. It's a shame, and these threads deserve to be imported here on GURPS Wiki. This process can be done in several simple steps. Different people can do each step for a given thread.
Evaluate the thread. This tells contributors whether this thread would have some use for GURPS Wiki visitors. You should leave some notes with it, explaining how the thread should be treated. For example, a character templates thread should be converted with the GURPS Character Plugin and put somewhere visible from the Characters page. A thread about a house rule should be summarized. A thread about what's realistic or not about a given GURPS feature should be synthetized into a fair and well written article.
Copy/paste all or parts of the thread in a new GURPS Wiki topic. Don't bother with the formatting yet, unless you have some spare time. Copying the text here, eventually skipping irrelevant parts, is already a good thing. Don't forget to put a link to the original thread.
Format the topic's text, modify it, summarize it, etc.
Characters thread : this one is begging to be transferred to GURPS Wiki. The link sends you directly to a post featuring some other links to other similar threads.
Half points for skills : a simple house rule, with some comments to wrap around it, especially Kromm's.
