Here are several templates for FBI agents. These templates are incremental.

Student F.B.I. Agent (47 points)

In order to be eligible for FBI training, the character must be between 23 and 36, with no criminal record, and good mental and health condition. This includes no hearing or sight problems. Of course, the character can't have any dependency for drugs or alcohol. The character must also have a valid driver's license, and a BS or BA degree in a field that's valuable for the FBI.

Attributes: ST 10 [0]; DX 10 [0]; IQ 11 [20]; HT 11 [10]

Secondary Attributes: Dmg 1d-2/1d; BL 20lbs.; HP 10 [0]; Will 11 [0]; Per 10 [-5]; FP 11 [0]; Basic Speed 5.25 [0]; Basic Move 5 [0].

Advantages: None.

Disadvantages: None.

Primary Skills: Select at least two of the following skills and spend 12 points in the first one (which results in IQ+1, IQ+2 or IQ+3 according to skill difficulty) and 8 points in the second one (IQ, IQ+1 or IQ+2).

  • Accounting, Economics, Finance
  • Computer programming, Expert skill (Computer security), Expert skill (Information technology)
  • Engineer (Civil), Engineer (Electronics), or other Engineer skill
  • Languages at native level and other linguistic skills
  • Expert skill (International terrorism), Intelligence analysis, and other intelligence related skills
  • Law (Business), Law (International), or other Law skill
  • Criminology or other police related skill
  • Diagnosis, Pharmacy (Synthetic), Physician, Physiology, Psychology
  • Biology (Earthlike), Chemistry, Cryptography, Forensics
  • Mathematics (Statistics), Physics, or other useful science skill.

Secondary Skills: Driving/TL8 (Automobile) (A) DX+0 [2]-10.

Rookie F.B.I Agent (74 points)

This is the template for the student FBI agent, but with advantages and skills gained during FBI training at Quantico. The agent cannot yet lead investigations.

Attributes: ST 10 [0]; DX 10 [0]; IQ 11 [20]; HT 11 [10]

Secondary Attributes: Dmg 1d-2/1d; BL 20lbs.; HP 10 [0]; Will 11 [0]; Per 10 [-5]; FP 11 [0]; Basic Speed 5.25 [0]; Basic Move 5 [0].

Advantages: Police Rank 0 [0], Legal Enforcement Powers [10].

Disadvantages: Duty [-15], Sense of Duty (Other agents) [-5].

Junior F.B.I Agent (110 points)

This is the template for a rookie FBI agent, after his test period is over, or at most with little experience. He can lead investigations but can't boss other agents around.

Attributes: ST 10 [0]; DX 10 [0]; IQ 11 [20]; HT 11 [10]

Secondary Attributes: Dmg 1d-2/1d; BL 20lbs.; HP 10 [0]; Will 11 [0]; Per 10 [-5]; FP 11 [0]; Basic Speed 5.25 [0]; Basic Move 5 [0].

Advantages: Police Rank 1 [5], Legal Enforcement Powers [10].

Disadvantages: Duty [-15], Sense of Duty (Other agents) [-5].

Primary Skills: Same skills as the Newbie FBI agent above, with the following modifications: Area knowledge (United States) (E) IQ+1 [2]-12, Criminology/TL8 (A) IQ+2 [8]-13, Diplomacy (H) IQ+0 [4]-11, Forensics/TL8 (H) IQ+0 [4]-11, Interrogation (A) IQ+1 [4]-12, Law (Criminal, USA) (H) IQ+1 [8]-12, Savoir-faire (Police) (E) IQ+1 [2]-12.

Secondary Skills: Same as Student FBI Agent, plus the following: Area knowledge (City in which the character is working) (E) IQ+0 [1]-11, Psychology (H) IQ+0 [4]-11, Research/TL8 (A) IQ+0 [2]-11, Search (A) Per+1 [4]-11, Computer operation/TL8 (E) IQ+1 [2]-12, Detect lies (H) Per-2 [1]-8, Electronics operation/TL8 (Communications) (A) IQ+0 [2]-11, Electronics operation/TL8 (Surveillance) (A) IQ+0 [2]-11, First aid/TL8 (E) IQ+1 [2]-12, Guns/TL8 (Rifle) (E) DX+1 [2]-11, Guns/TL8 (Submachine guns) (E) DX+1 [2]-11, Observation (A) Per-1 [1]-9, Shadowing (A) IQ-1 [1]-10.

Senior F.B.I. Agent (200 points)

This is the template for an FBI agent with a few years of pratice. He can lead investigations, and may have other agents following his orders.

Attributes: ST 10 [0]; DX 10 [0]; IQ 11 [20]; HT 11 [10]

Secondary Attributes: Dmg 1d-2/1d; BL 20lbs.; HP 10 [0]; Will 11 [0]; Per 10 [-5]; FP 11 [0]; Basic Speed 5.25 [0]; Basic Move 5 [0].

Advantages: Police Rank 2 [20], Legal Enforcement Powers [10], Comfortable wealth [10].

Disadvantages: Duty [-15], Sense of Duty (Other agents) [-5].

Primary Skills: Same skills as the Junior FBI agent above, with the following modifications: Area knowledge (United States) (E) IQ+3 [8]-14, Criminology/TL8 (A) IQ+3 [12]-14, Law (Criminal, USA) (H) IQ+3 [16]-14, Savoir-faire (Police) (E) IQ+3 [8]-14.
